Once again, he got back into his sleeping bag and began to fall asleep when the nun repeated, « Father, I’m still very cold. »
He got out of the bag, stood up, covered her with another blanket, and lay back down. Just as he closed his eyes, she said, « Father, I’m so cold. »
This time, he remained lying down, winked, and smiled. Then he said, « Sister, I have an idea. We’re here, out in nature, where no one will ever know what happened. Let’s pretend we’re married. »
The nun replied softly, « That suits me perfectly. »
To which the priest shouted, « Well then, get up and go get your own blanket! »
